Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of Pancasila and Civics Education (PPKn) in grade 5 elementary school students in Pacitan Regency through the application of Teaching At Right Level (TARL) approach in Pop Up Box Pancasila learning media. The research was conducted over two cycles involving 7 students. Data were collected through tests, observations, and interviews. The results showed that the application of Pop Up Box Pancasila learning media can significantly improve students' problem solving ability. In the first cycle, the average score of students in the test was 76.8, while in the second cycle it increased to 85.1. In addition, observations and interviews showed that students were more active and involved in the learning process. In the overall research, Pop Up Box Pancasila learning media proved to be effective in improving students' problem solving skills in Civics learning. Pop Up Box Pancasila learning media is a solution to the different abilities of students in understanding Pancasila and Citizenship (Civics) learning. Pop Up Box Pancasila learning media is a challenging learning media that trains students to work collaboratively in groups to find solutions to the problems they encounter, so as to improve their analytical skills and creativity according to the abilities of each student.
