https://proceedings.uinsaizu.ac.id/index.php/icon-tress/article/view/1099

Mathematics education in schools often still relies on abstract concepts, making it difficult for many students to learn mathematics. Therefore, educators need to transform these abstract mathematical concepts into concrete ones by connecting mathematics with the local culture. Brebes Regency is one example of a region rich in culture. Educators can integrate this culture into mathematics learning through Ketan Pencok, a traditional snack from Bumiayu. Without realizing it, the process of making Ketan Pencok involves mathematical concepts. This study aims to explore activities involving mathematical concepts found in the process of making Ketan Pencok, a traditional snack from Bumiayu. The research is a descriptive qualitative study using an ethnographic approach. Data collection techniques used include observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques involve data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The study shows that the process of making Ketan Pencok involves mathematical concepts such as two-dimensional geometric shapes (rectangles and circles) and three-dimensional shapes (open cylinders, hemispheres, rectangular prisms, and cubes), division, proportionality, social arithmetic, and linear equations with two variables, which can be used by educators as a source for contextual mathematics learning.
Fitria Zana Kumala, Isna Ilviatun Naela, Dini Novia Rahmadhani, Redo Al Habib

https://proceedings.uinsaizu.ac.id/index.php/icon-tress/article/view/1160

This study aims to investigate the influence of financial literacy, financial behavior, and financial attitude on consumptive behavior among public university students in Bali. The rising consumption index in Indonesia is an issue of concern, especially among the younger generations. Using the theory of planned behavior this study proposes that financial knowledge (financial literacy, financial behavior, and financial attitude) can affect personal finance-related decision-making processes and behaviors. This study collects data through a questionnaire from 500 University of Udayana and University of Ganesha students. This study uses IBM SPSS Statistics 26 to run the data. The results of this study indicate that financial literacy, financial behavior, and financial attitude significantly impact consumptive behavior. A high financial literacy and financial attitudes reduce excessive consumptive behavior, while positive financial behavior will increase consumptive behavior. This study contributes to the scant literature of consumptive behavior by extending the scope of previous studies, providing deeper insights on how financial knowledge can determine consumptive behavior. The results indicate the need for effective financial education programs and financial products for the younger generation, specifically in Bali, to overcome the issue of consumptive behavior. Nevertheless, it is essential to recognise the findings of this study while being aware of certain limitations that do not diminish the overall quality of the research. This study was carried out in a specific province in Indonesia, focussing solely on universities in Bali, examining the influence of financial literacy, financial behaviour, and financial attitude on consumptive behaviour without considering other possibly relevant factors.
Putu Ayu Candra Dewi, Siti Sarah Alyasa Gan, Nor'ain Abdullah

https://proceedings.uinsaizu.ac.id/index.php/icon-tress/article/view/1102

Male students remain a minority in the Early Childhood Islamic Education (PIAUD) study program and frequently encounter negative stigma from their social environment. This study aims to analyze the motivations and challenges faced by male students pursuing education in the PIAUD program. A qualitative descriptive research method was employed, with data collected through in-depth interviews. The research was conducted at an Islamic university in the Banyumas area, focusing on six male students enrolled in the PIAUD program. The findings indicate that the motivations for selecting the PIAUD program are both external and internal. External motivations include family encouragement, the availability of scholarships, and promising job prospects. Internal motivations encompass an interest in child development, a desire to contribute to early childhood education, and a need to prove oneself. Students face challenges in both social and academic environments. Social challenges include bullying, negative stigma, being a minority in the classroom, and difficulties adapting to the academic process. To address these issues, it is crucial to provide support from all related parties, including parents, lecturers, and peers. The future aspirations of students in the PIAUD program include pursuing a Master’s degree, becoming lecturers, and obtaining Early Childhood Education teacher certification. Based on the study's results, it is recommended to develop a specialized mentoring and guidance program for male students in the PIAUD program, involving successful alumni as mentors.
Wahyu Purwasih, Dewi Ariyani

https://proceedings.uinsaizu.ac.id/index.php/icon-tress/article/view/1110

This study aims to analyze the meaning of the Oneness of Allah in Q.S Al-Hadid:3 perspective analysis with the theory of the philosophical interpretation approach. This research was conducted by a literature study method. This method is a series of activities related to the steps: a) collecting library data, b) reading and recording data, c) reducing data, d) analyzing and inferring. In analyzing Q.S Al-Hadid:3, the researcher uses the theory of the philosophical interpretation approach associated with philosophical problems and philosophical theory theory as the paradigm. With philosophical interpretation, researchers can analyze verses of the Qur'an with philosophical thoughts, such as bi ra'yi tafsir which interprets the Qur'an with human thought. With the Philosophical interpretation, verses are more fugsy as justifications for written thoughts, not thoughts that justify verses. In understanding the Oneness of Allah, it is necessary to have a philosopher's thinking in analogizing the verses of the Qur'an so that it can be accepted among the general public. As the philosopher Aristotle said in analyzing the Oneness of God. The results of this study explain the Oneness of Allah from the perspective of al-Farabi with the theory of the Philsafi interpretation approach based on the foundation of Aristotle's thought as an analytical knife. With the theory of the philosophical interpretation approach, it will analyze the meaning of the verse with human thoughts and perspectives by considering the thoughts of other philosophers and philosophers. So that the meaning of a meaning can be justified from a human point of view
Yohana Novitasari, Laili Liddini

https://proceedings.uinsaizu.ac.id/index.php/icon-tress/article/view/1163

This study examines the evolution of the concept of ‘presence of the heart’ (hudhur al-qalb) in the Sufi tradition, from the classical era to the digital era. ‘Presence of the heart’ is a core concept in Islamic spirituality that emphasizes full awareness of God in every aspect of life. The purpose of this study is to map the changes in the interpretation and practice of this concept throughout history, and to analyze the factors that influence its transformation in the digital era. The methodology of this study uses a comparative literature analysis approach, with data sources including classical Sufi texts, secondary literature, and contemporary digital sources. Thematic and comparative analysis across eras are used to identify patterns of change and continuity in the understanding of the concept of ‘presence of the heart’. The results show that the concept of ‘presence of the heart’ has undergone significant reinterpretation, from a highly esoteric understanding in the classical era to a more accessible and applicable one in the modern era. The digital era has brought a new dimension to the practice of ‘presence of the heart’, with the emergence of mobile applications and virtual communities that facilitate this spiritual practice. However, this transformation also brings challenges, especially in maintaining the depth and authenticity of spiritual experience in an increasingly digitally connected world. This study contributes to a more nuanced understanding of how classical spiritual concepts adapt to changing times. The implications of this study are relevant for the development of contemporary approaches to Sufism practice, as well as for the broader dialogue between spiritual traditions and modernity. Further research is needed to explore the effectiveness of technology-mediated ‘presence of the heart’ practices in the context of contemporary spiritual life.
Wilda Noventian Ardina

https://proceedings.uinsaizu.ac.id/index.php/icon-tress/article/view/1164

Mitoni is a traditional Javanese custom carried out during the first pregnancy when a woman enters her seventh month. In Javanese terms, mini means pint or seven. The Javanese people believe this tradition to be a form of prayer so that the baby-to-be and the pregnant mother will be safe and make the birth process easier. And the child she was carrying was born safely and piously (Mustaqim, 2017:122). In the people of Kecitran Village, the monthly nujuh tradition is known as keba. Local people use the term keba more often than mitoni. Keba itself has been preserved for a long time by the elders of the Kecitran community. In Kecitran, the keba tradition is carried out during a woman's first pregnancy seven months into her pregnancy. In contrast, in the second and subsequent pregnancies, the term Selamatetan is used. This difference can be seen from a series of rituals carried out. The keba tradition has many series, whereas Selamatetan is just praying and eating together. Still, the aim and objective remain the same, namely so that the baby and pregnant mother are given safety until the birth procession, and the child born can respect the parents (asking the good ones). The series of keba implementation in Kecitran Village consists of siraman, tahlilan, food thanksgiving, coin distribution, bridal nggolet, welut ransom, tumpeng fight, and mbalang watu. These are some of the series carried out by pregnant women, usually following the midwife's directions in Kecitran Village. The dukun also plays a role in the pregnancy process of pregnant women in Kecitran Village, such as massaging during pregnancy (whether they are still pregnant or having given birth later), making sambetan for the pregnant mother and the baby to be born, and burying the placenta is done by the shaman. Because local people have more trust and confidence in traditional birth attendants who, according to them, have experience in this matter. Not everyone can become a midwife because only those with offspring can become one. Because being a midwife has been passed down by one's elders, it is not just anyone; apart from that, it is also because there is a connection between the mind of the elder and the one they have inherited (Interview with midwife, Saturday, February 15, 2024).
Dhian Ara Febrianti, Eka Septian

https://proceedings.uinsaizu.ac.id/index.php/icon-tress/article/view/1193

Serat Centhini is a monumental and renowned work of traditional Javanese literature. Its fame stems not only from its captivating narrative but also from its extensive and diverse content. Serat Centhini encompasses knowledge on plants, cuisine, geography, arts, Javanese astrology, language, literature, history, religion, and much more. Notably, it also includes education on sexuality. The sexual education presented in Serat Centhini is influenced by Islamic values, thus can be considered a Javanese version of sex education, given its status as a work of Javanese literature. The term "sexual education" is used because the text contains prohibitions and recommendations regarding sexual relations between husband and wife. This study explores whether Islamic influences are present in the sexual education content of Serat Centhini. The research data is derived from the prohibitions and recommendations for husband-wife relationships, known as saresmi, found in Serat Centhini, particularly in the first volume. The study aims to reveal the influence of Islamic teachings on sexual education in Serat Centhini. The results indicate that there is an influence of Islamic values on the sexual education presented in Serat Centhini
Pardi Pardi, Dimas Indianto S, Suryo Handono, Saefu Zaman, Yusro Edy Nugroho, Sri Haryatmo, Dian Susilastri, Sutejo Sutejo

https://proceedings.uinsaizu.ac.id/index.php/icon-tress/article/view/1296

This study aims to examine the effect of respect for achievement on student learning outcomes. The design of this research is Ex Post Facto. The population in this study were all 6th grade students of MI Ma'arif NU Beji. The sampling technique used probability sampling, namely students in grades 6A and 6B MI Ma'arif NU Beji Learning Year 2023/2024, with a total of 37 respondents. The data collection technique was carried out with a questionnaire to appreciate achievement and learning outcomes on the average value of the odd semester report card. The results showed that respect for achievement influenced learning outcomes by 18.3% and the remaining 81.7% was influenced by other factors outside of respect for achievement. With the regression equation Y = 75.471 + 0.382X, each addition (increase) of the achievement appreciation scale will affect student learning outcomes by 0.382.
Devi Sofiana, Anggitiyas Sekarinasih, Irma Dwi Tantri

https://proceedings.uinsaizu.ac.id/index.php/icon-tress/article/view/1299

Bibliometric analysis is a crucial approach in uncovering the dynamics and research trends within a specific scientific field. In the context of studies related to the fatwas of Majelis Ulama Indonesia (MUI), bibliometric analysis serves as a valuable tool for identifying patterns, publication trends, and the scientific impact of a fatwa within the academic community. This article aims to explore the research and publication trends in State Islamic Higher Education Institutions (PTKIN) related to MUI fatwas over a period of 21 years, from 2002 to 2023. The article conducts a bibliometric analysis of 1663 research documents on MUI fatwas stored in 38 PTKIN repository websites. The bibliometric analysis in this article comprises two parts: first, performance analysis that identifies the performance of fatwa research constituents, including annual publication frequency, document types, publication languages, affiliations, and influential authors; second, science mapping analysis that provides visualization of co-keyword network to reveal interactions among topics in MUI fatwa research. These interactions can further reveal existing research trends in the study of MUI fatwas within the academic setting of state Islamic universities in Indonesia.
Muchammad Ikfil Chasan, Allina MN

https://proceedings.uinsaizu.ac.id/index.php/icon-tress/article/view/1298

The objective of this study is to ascertain whether there is a discrepancy in the attitudes towards sportsmanship exhibited by boys and girls students in traditional baren games - the Javanese traditional game. The research subjects were fifth-grade students from two elementary schools in Baleraksa village in Central Java, Indonesia with 50 students. The data were collected using a Likert scale questionnaire, which was employed to measure the subjects' attitudes towards sportsmanship. The methodology employed was quantitative, with data analysis conducted using an independent t-test. The findings revealed that the mean score for the sportsmanship attitude of girls students (37.81) was higher than that of boys students (37.32). Nevertheless, the independent t-test indicates that the discrepancy is not statistically significant, as the sig-value is 0.743, exceeding the 0.05 threshold. So, there is no notable distinction between the mean scores of sportsmanship attitudes in the traditional Baren game between boys and girls students. This means that there is no need to consider gender in selecting team members to win a game. However, consider other factors such as strategy and team cohesion.
Salia Nurrohmah, Irma Dwi Tantri
