Abstract

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the management of character building in the Khair Expert Taklim Assembly and find answers to the problem of How to Manage Character Education in the Khair Expert Taklim Assembly Educational Institution, this type of research is a field research, namely qualitatively. Data in the form of descriptions in the form of activities or behaviors of subjects and other documents through observation interviews and documentation. The results showed that the Taklim Ahli Khair Assembly had implemented the principles and functions of management, namely: Planning, Organizing, Actuating, and Controlling (POAC), the first, planning management to form character in the Taklim Assembly.  Secondly, organizing management forms a character in the Taklim Assembly.  Third, the management of the implementation of shaping the character in the Taklim Assembly, and.  Fourth, control management shapes character in the Taklim Assembly. The character values that are formed are religious character, love of kindness, compassion, independence, tolerant, trustworthiness, self-confidence, responsibility, respect, courtesy, democratization, hard work, never giving up, caring for others and the environment, discipline, and a leader spirit. As for the indicators of success in achieving character building management, there are two indicators of success, the first is the indicator of short-term and medium-term success which is characterized by the achievement of character building in activities at the Khair Expert Taklim Assembly, the second is the long-term indicator, namely the progress of alumni or graduates of the Khair Expert Taklim Assembly who have had a lot of success in their lives.

Abstrak

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan menejemen pembentukan karakter di Majelis Taklim Ahli Khair dan mencari jawaban permasalahan tentang Bagaimana Manajemen Pengelolaan pendidikan karakter di Lembaga Pendidikan Majelis Taklim Ahli Khair, jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan yaitu secara kualitatif. Data berupa uraian berupa kegiatan atau perilaku subyek dan dokumen lain melalui wawancara observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Majelis Taklim Ahli Khair telah melaksanakan prinsip-prinsip dan fungsi menejemen yaitu : Planning, Organizing, Actuating, dan Controlling (POAC), yang pertama, menejemen perencanaan membentuk karakter di Majelis Taklim. Kedua, manajemen pengorganisasian membentuk karakter di Majelis Taklim. Ketiga, menejemen pelaksanaan membentuk karakter di Majelis Taklim, dan. Keempat, manajemen pengendalian membentuk karakter di Majelis Taklim. Adapun nilai karakter yang terbentuk adalah karakter religius, cinta kebaikan, kasih sayang, mandiri, toleran, amanah, percaya diri, tanggung jawab, hormat, santun, demokratif, kerja keras, pantang menyerah, peduli sesama dan lingkungan, disiplin, dan berjiwa pemimpin. Adapun indikator keberhasilan pencapaian dalam menejemen pembentukan karakter  ada dua indikator keberhasilan yang pertama indikator keberhasilan jangka pendek dan jangka menengah yang ditandai ketercapaiannya pembentukan karakter dalam kegiatan-kegiatan di Majelis Taklim Ahli Khair, kedua indikator jangka panjang yaitu progres dari alumni atau lulusan Majelis Taklim Ahli Khair yang banyak sukses dalam kehidupannya.
