Abstract

Academic supervision is an activity of coaching, mentoring, training, consulting, mentoring, and monitoring learning both in the aspect of competence and the implementation of the main tasks of learning at the stages of learning planning, implementation of learning, and learning assessment. The research method uses observation, interviews, and documentation of academic supervision. In MTs Negeri 3 Cilacap, it was found that the implementation of teacher academic supervision has not been effective and efficient. The supervision plan prepared by the Head of the Madrasah has not been able to be implemented optimally. The organization of academic supervision is still dependent on senior teachers. The head of the madrasa in carrying out supervision sometimes directly into the classroom as well as outside the classroom. The learning carried out by teachers has also not fully followed the development of the applicable curriculum. Learning facilities and infrastructure are still rarely used by teachers in teaching in the classroom. Academic supervision is needed by teachers, in order to help solve the problems they face, as well as improve the duties and roles of teachers in learning, so that the goals of madrasah education can be achieved.

Abstrak

upervisi akademik merupakan kegiatan pembinaan, pembimbingan, pelatihan, konsultasi, pendampingan, dan pemantauan pembelajaran baik dalam aspek kompetensi maupun pelaksanaan tugas pokok pembelajaran pada tahapan perencanaan pembelajaran, pelaksanaan pembelajaan, dan penilaian pembelajaran. Metode penelitian menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi supervisi akademik. Di MTs Negeri 3 Cilacap ditemukan pelaksanaan supervisi akademik guru belum efektif dan efisien. Perencanaa supervisi yang disiapkan Kepala Madrasah belum bisa dilaksanakan secara maksimal. Pengorganisasian supervisi akademik masih tergantng kepada guru senior. Kepala Madrasah dalam melaksanakan supervisi kadang-kadang secara langsung ke dalam kelas juga di luar kelas. Pembelajaran yang dilakukan guru juga belum sepenuhnya mengikuti perkembangan kurikulum yang berlaku. Sarana dan prasarana pembelajaran masih jarang digunakan oleh guru dalam mengajar di kelas. Supervisi akademik sangat dibutuhkan oleh guru, agar dapat membantu menyelesaikan permasalahan yang dihadapinya, serta meningkatkan tugas dan peran guru dalam pembelajaran, sehingga tujuan pendidikan madrasah dapat tercapai.
