Analisis Pembelajaran Ilmu Tajwid Dalam Kitab Syifā’ul Jinān, Karya K.H. Ahmad Muthohhar

This study explores the teaching of Ilmu Tajwid (the science of Qur’anic pronunciation) in a concise and accessible manner, particularly for students and teachers at madrasah Ibtidaiyyah (Islamic elementary schools). The central focus of this research is the book Syifā’ul Jinān by K.H. Ahmad Muthohhar, which is regarded as a significant reference in the learning process of Qur’anic recitation. The book adopts a communicative approach, utilizing simple and clear language to accommodate beginning readers, especially at the elementary level. The research employs a library research method with a descriptive-analytical approach. The primary source analyzed is the Syifā’ul Jinān text itself. In the process of translation, the author seeks to maintain accuracy of meaning and pedagogical relevance, while aligning with the Islamic scholarly tradition prevalent in pesantren and madrasah environments. Despite careful efforts, the author acknowledges the potential for interpretive errors, thus remaining open to corrections and guidance from religious scholars as a form of both academic and spiritual responsibility. This study is expected to make a valuable contribution to the development of Ilmu Tajwid education at the elementary level and to strengthen religious literacy among children from an early age. Moreover, the research emphasizes the importance of contextual and communicative approaches in transforming classical Islamic knowledge to ensure its continued relevance and applicability in modern educational settings.
