PEMANFAATAN ECO-PRINTING PADA TANAMAN DAUN JINITRI SEBAGAI PRODUK UMKM DESA PANDANSARI

Abstract

Ecoprinting is a printing technique with natural fabric coloring which is quite
simple but can produce unique and authentic motifs. The principle of ecoprinting
is through direct contact between leaves, flowers, stems or other body parts that
contain color pigments and certain fabric media. This service aims to provide
training in making Ecoprints for PKK women in Pandansari village, Sruweng,
Kebumen which has the potential to increase the creative industry with products
that are economically valuable and worth selling. The method implemented
in this community service is the ABCD (Asset Based Community Development)
mentoring approach. By empowering the Pandansari village community, we
hope to increase the knowledge and skills of the Pandansari community and also
be able to identify problems and their potential, as well as plan and implement
solutions using local potential. The results of the evaluation of the training on
making Ecoprints in Pandansari village were that there was an increase in
participants’ understanding and abilities before and after being given training
on making Ecoprints
